Parts of Speech :- In traditional grammar, the parts of speech are the categories of words that are used to make up sentences. The main parts of speech include: Nouns, Verbs, Adjectives, Adverbs, Pronouns, Prepositions, Conjunctions, Interjections, Helping verbs/auxiliary verbs and Modal verbs. Each part of speech plays a specific role in the sentence, and is used to express different types of information. For example: Nouns are used to name people, places, and things; like, Badshahi Masjid, Ali , Lahore, Lahore museum, Pakistan etc. while verbs are used to express actions or states of being; like, work, play, study etc. Adjectives and adverbs are used to provide additional information about nouns and verbs, respectively.
